1946 Chevy Snowplow

1:16 Scale 1946 Chevy Snow Plow DOT Yellow/Green

First introduced in the fall of 1940, these trucks featured all-new styling, influenced by the Art Deco period of industrial design. The sealed-beam headlights were streamlined into the fenders, instead of mounted on top as on previous models. A 90-hp, 216 c.i. straight six cylinder engine was standard in the Chevy®, with an optional 93-hp 235 c.i. "Load Master" that generated 192 ft./lbs. of torque. Three different engines were available in the GMC version, topping out at 270 c.i. Production ran until May of 1947, when they were replaced with the "Advance Design Series" of trucks.

The Highway 61 Collectibles model includes vintage Baker Snow Plow attachment and dump bed and repliactes a transportiona department truck commonly seen in the northern United Sates and Cananda. Snow plow raises and lowers maunually and dump bed releases using the lever in the cab and raises with a lift cylinder mounted on the frame. Tailgate opens and includes chains making it fully postionable.
